The Veracity HIGHWIRE Powerstar Camera Unit (model FV‑VHWHWPC / VHW‑HWPS‑C) transforms existing coaxial cabling into a high-speed Ethernet and PoE+ pathway for your IP camera. Designed to fit inside camera housings, this compact adapter delivers up to 25 W of IEEE 802.3at-compliant power and full-duplex 10/100 Mbps Ethernet over legacy coax distances—300 m on RG59, 400 m on RG6, and 500 m on RG11. Featuring Veracity’s SAFEVIEW diagnostic LEDs, it provides instant visual confirmation of network and power status. The unit combines automatic link configuration with plug‑and‑play simplicity, eliminating the need for additional network switches or local power outlets.
