The Tyco Focus 471210‑C is an interactive keypad designed for use with the Focus CADET security system, serving as the user interface between occupants and the system. It features a four‑line LCD display (17 characters per line) and an alphanumeric keypad arranged like a telephone dial to facilitate text entry for naming zones, users, and system messages. Users can navigate system menus for arming, disarming, bypassing zones, viewing event history, and programming schedules. It supports up to 64 protection points across multiple burglary/fire groups, and retains memory of the last 512 events in nonvolatile storage. The keypad sends supervisory signals and supports tamper detection to guard against theft or removal.
