The Tektone IR312E Dual Patient Station offers dependable, hands-free, two-way communication between patients and nurses, featuring programmable privacy, paging, and patient priority from the master station. This unit includes an additional independently functioning call cord/pillow speaker receptacle and an extra call-placed indicator. Calls can be initiated by pressing the call cord button or the designated area on the pillow speaker. Solid-state LEDs on the panel signal that a call has been placed and the intercom is active. If the call cord or pillow speaker is accidentally disconnected, the nurse master station registers a non-cancelable call with a cord-out indication, which can only be reset by reattaching the call cord or pillow speaker.
