STI SS2408EX-EN Stopper Station Push Button

The STI SS2408EX‑EN is a pneumatic Stopper Station push button designed to provide reliable emergency exit or control activation without needing electric power for the timing function. It uses a pneumatic adjustable timer to open or close a circuit and then has a delay before it resets. The device includes an LED illumination bar (12‑24 VAC/VDC) that lights up in green, red, or white. It carries a raised “EMERGENCY EXIT” label, is ADA compliant, and is UL recognized as UL508 component. Its housing is made of tough UV‑stabilized polycarbonate, with a stainless steel backplate, and includes a unique curved design to reduce accidental activation. It supports both normally open (N.O.) and normally closed (N.C.) contacts (with one Form Z, one N.O., one N.C.), and is rated for 10 A resistive at 240 VAC, as well as usable at lower voltages (e.g. 30 V DC). It is suitable for indoor or sheltered outdoor locations, and with colors and labeling options in several languages. The warranty is 3 years on the polycarbonate housing (breakage under normal use) and one year on the electro‑mechanical / electronic components. The SS2408EX‑EN is flush mounted, depth about 3.2", height about 4.9", width about 3.2". The switch is made of polycarbonate and stainless steel material. It is designed for safety/emergency applications where a visible, robust pneumatic button with timed reset is needed.
