The Software House SWH‑4100 is a versatile access control reader that supports both 125 kHz proximity cards and 13.56 MHz smart cards, including MIFARE, DESFire, ISO 14443A/B, ISO 15693, and FIPS 201 credentials. Housed in a single-gang configuration (111 × 84 × 28 mm), it easily mounts to standard electrical boxes with plug-in screw terminals simplifying installation. The “flex” firmware option allows in-field updates via RS‑485, enabling new card technologies to be added without hardware replacement. Configurable Wiegand output, external LED/beeper control, and optional tamper detection make it adaptable across commercial, governmental, or industrial environments.
