The Software House iSTAR Ultra G2 Cyber-Hardened Access Controller (model GSTAR008) is a high-performance network door controller designed for enterprise and government access control applications. Built on a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) and running a hardened Linux embedded OS, it delivers secure boot-time integrity and hardened operation. Dual gigabit Ethernet ports, IPv6, DHCP, and 802.1X ensure modern network support while onboard 256-bit AES encryption and OSDP Secure Channel support protect reader communications. Local processing handles up to 1 million cardholders in memory, reducing dependency on the host.
