The Schlage ND53BD‑RHO‑626 Entrance Lever Lockset is a heavy‑duty Grade 1 cylindrical lever lock designed for commercial applications where high abuse resistance and lasting performance are required. It features a Rhodes lever design in a satin chrome (US 26D) finish, making it suitable for institutional, government, healthcare and office settings. This model is “less core” (SFIC prep) allowing the installer to insert the appropriate interchangeable core for master keying or keying alike systems. It is non‑handed, meaning it can be installed on either right‑ or left‑handed doors without modification. The standard latch has a ½" throw, and the lock accepts a 2‑3/4″ backset (with optional backsets available) and fits doors from 1‑5/8″ to 2‑1/8″ thick, making it flexible for most standard commercial doors. The product is ANSI/BHMA A156.2‑2011, Series 4000, Grade 1 certified and UL listed for 3‑hour fire door service. With its robust zinc and steel internal construction and compatibility with Schlage’s ND‑Series catalog of functions and finishes, this lever lockset meets demanding specification requirements for longevity, strength and security.
