DMP SCS-130 Transformer Card

The DMP SCS‑130 Transformer Card is a pivotal power module for the SCS‑1/SCS‑1R Security Control Receiver series. It accepts 120 VAC (60 Hz, 1.5 A) input—ideally backed by a UPS—and distributes regulated AC power via two terminal connectors (COM and HOT) to both the SCS‑110 Modem Power Supply and SCS‑120 Multibus Power Supply cards. The card also provides power to the rack’s cooling fan through a dedicated connector. Housed on the rear of the modem rack, it mounts securely with four standoffs and screws. Built-in protection includes a UL‑listed AGC 3 A, 250 V fast‑blow fuse to safeguard against overloads. Installation is simplified via color-coded wiring and strain relief, while ground and conduit knockouts ensure compliance with safety standards. The SCS‑130 serves as the backbone of the receiver's power architecture, ensuring stable operation and monitored power transitions to the operator console in case of brownouts or power failures.
