Comnet NWK1/M Hardened Small Form Point-to-Point Wireless Ethernet Kit

The ComNet NWK1/M is an industrially hardened wireless Ethernet transmission kit that includes a Client and an Access Point. With MIMO technology, the NWK1/M and NWK2/M can support up to 95Mbps throughput, making it a powerful and cost-effective alternative to physical connections to Ethernet edge equipment. These mini units come in an ultrasmall form factor that is a new addition to the ComNet NetWave product family. The NWK1/M is FCC certified for use in North America, while the NWK2/M is ETSI, DFS, and TPC certified for use in the European Union. It can be powered by an IEEE 802.3af PoE compliant device or through the supplied power injection module. The unit is environmentally hardened to operate in harsh or out-of-plant environments, with a temperature range of -40 º to 75 ºC and class IP67 dust and water immersion protection standards. Other features include WPA2-AES or TKIP encryption for secure transmission, ComNet antenna alignment tools that ease installation and setup, and auto-negotiation for full duplex or half duplex data throughput. It is ideal for wireless communications in manufacturing, petrochemical refineries, wastewater treatment facilities, and other industrial automation and control applications.
