The Axis 291 1U Video Server Rack is the perfect solution for migrating analog cameras into an IP-based digital surveillance system. With three expansion slots for video encoder blades, this rack allows for seamless integration and scalability. It can accommodate anywhere from 4 to 18 analog cameras, making it suitable for both small and large surveillance systems. The rack is designed to be mounted on a standard 1U 19" rack and can be easily expanded as your system grows. Equipped with hot-swappable blades, the Axis 291 supports various compression formats, including H.264, MPEG-4, and MJPEG, delivering high-quality video streams. It offers simultaneous streaming on all channels and supports up to 4CIF resolution at 30 fps. The rack also features RS-485/422 ports for PTZ camera control, four alarm inputs and outputs, and a built-in universal power supply for added convenience.
