SIMPLEX 4905-9835 - Temporal Code 4 Module

The SIMPLEX 4905‑9835 is a non‑addressable Temporal Code 4 (TC4) module designed for CO gas alarm notification circuits. It converts a steady‑on NAC (Notification Appliance Circuit) input into the NFPA‑720 specified Temporal Code 4 audible pattern for carbon monoxide alarms, thereby distinguishing CO alarm events from fire alarms. The module supports three selectable modes: Synchronized, where up to 20 modules share timing via a dedicated control NAC; Unsynchronized, where each module times independently but still uses a control NAC; and Stand‑Alone, where the module’s input NAC alone triggers the TC4 pattern without a separate control NAC. When the control NAC is off in synchronized or unsynchronized modes, the module outputs simply mirror the fire alarm NAC input. It is housed in a compact sealed enclosure that mounts into a standard 4‑inch square electrical box. The 4905‑9835 is UL 864 and ULC S527 listed, UL and CSFM approved, and is intended for indoor use within temperature and humidity limits.
