Edwards-Signaling FX-IDC2B Analog Dual Input Module

The Edwards‑Signaling FX‑IDC2B is an analog addressable dual input module that connects two normally open, dry contact initiating device circuits (IDCs) to an Edwards (or Kidde/FX series compatible) fire alarm control panel. The module supervises both inputs for alarm, trouble, or supervisory conditions and reports their status individually to the panel. Each input can be configured for alarm or supervisory operation via front‐panel setting, and the module is intended for Class B wiring schemes. Rotary switches on the front allow addressing using two consecutive addresses, with the second address automatically assigned as one higher. A bicolor LED on the front provides visual indication of normal/trouble/alarm states. The FX‑IDC2B also supports precise ground fault detection to pinpoint wiring faults to the specific module, simplifying troubleshooting.
